Review: GlimmerbyErica Green with Envy

Hallo My Lovelies,

Today I have a beautiful polish for you from GlimmerbyErica called Green With Envy. Green with Envy is a green and gold polish with micro fine, hexes, square, round and diamond glitters in a clear base.

Here is what Erica has to say about Green with Envy "Green With Envy is a gorgeous green and gold polish that has some holo diamonds too. It will make all your friends "green with envy!!" It has emerald green micro fine glitter, gold micro glitter, emerald green hexes, small gold squares, round gold holos and diamond holos. It really looks stunning on the nail!"

Anyone that knows me knows I LOVE green nail polish :) more then half of my stash is green!! For this mani I used 2 coats of Green with Envy over 2 coats of China Glaze Paper Chashing. There was no need to fish around for the glitters but I did have to use Glitter Food to get a smooth surface.

So what do you think? I highly recommend you get your butt over to GlimmerByErica and buy up all her polishes!! :D

You can buy Green With Envy and many other polishes from GlimmerbyErica at her Etsy Shop.

Review: Flash Your Tips polishes

Hallo My Lovelies,

I hope Christmas stress has not gotten the best of you yet! I've been so busy with work, Christmas shopping, working on the house and trying to figure out what to cook for Christmas.

I did find time to review 3 of Rachel's A.K.A Flash Your Tips polishes and I must say OMG I'm in LOVE with the polishes she sent me :)

I will start off with Aunt Bethany's Jello Mold. Aunt Bethany's Jello Mold is a light green base with red and green glitter.

Here is what Rachel has to say about Aunt Bethany's Jello Mold "Christmas dinner would not have been the same without Aunt Bethany's Jello Mold!
This polish has a light, but buildable green base with green and red glitter."

For this mani I used 2 coats of Aunt Bethany's Jello Mold over 2 coats of Essence Don't Feed The Tiger.

Application was easy with no glitter fishing necessary. I did not need to use Glitter Food because all the glitter laid flat on my nails :)

Next up is Griswold Family Christmas. Griswold Family Christmas is a mixer of white and blue glitters in a clear base.

Here is what Rachel has to say about Griswold Family Christmas "This is an amazing mixture of blue glitter in a clear base. There are matte white, matte baby blue, and blue glitters. This color is named after my favorite family from my favorite Christmas movie."

For this mani I used 2 coats of Griswold Family Christmas over 2 coats of Zoya Trixie.

No issues with application nor did I have to fish for glitter. I did how ever use Glitter Food to get a smooth surface

Last but not least here is Cousin Eddie's Shoes. Cousin Eddie's Shoes is a clear base with iridescent, sliver and white Various sized glitters (square, bar and hex) By far this is my favorite polish out of the 3.

This is what Rachel has to say about Cousin Eddie's Shoes "We all remember Cousin Eddie's Shoes! They were sparkly white just like this beautiful polish! There are seven different glitters used in this polish that will look great alone or over a colored base coat!"

For this mani I used 2 coats of  Cousin Eddie's Shoes over 2 coats of China Glaze Ring In The Red. No fishing for glitter here but I did have to use Glitter Food because it did leave the mani abit gritty, normally after using Glitter Food I top my mani off with HK Top Coat but I loved the matte look with this combo.

So what do you think? Do you have any Flah Your Tips polishes and if so which ones?

To order Rachels polishes go to her Etsy shop and you can also read about any up dates she may have on her Facebook page.

Review: Glimmer by Erica Muy Caliente

Hallo My Lovelies,

I'm back with a new polish from Glimmer by Erica called Muy Caliente. Muy Caliente is a bright red, orange and yellow glitters in all shapes and sizes.

Here is what Erica has to say about Muy Caliente "This polish is all about fire! It is a super sparkly mix of red, orange, and yellow glitters in a clear base and it is hot hot hot!! It literally glows on the nail! I know in this pic it looks like there is some gold in it but that is all yellow and in person it is bright yellow. It looks stunning by itself or as a sparkling top coat for any color. I recommend a clear coat since glitters can feel rough on the nail."

As you can see my nails are alot shorter :( I broke all of them on my right hand at work so I had to file them down *BOOOOOOOO* oh well whats a girl to do? LOL

For this mani I used 2 coats of Muy Caliente over 2 coats of Anny It's Just Love (a beauty red creme) I got so many compliments about this mani it was crazy :D I swear it looked like my nails was on fire!

The formula was excellent and I had no need to fish for glitter which is always a plus right? I'm loving Erica's polishes they are so complex, there's nothing boring about her creation's.

So what do you think?

You can buy Muy Caliente and many other polishes from GlimmerbyErica at her Etsy Shop.

Review: Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food (Fix A Flat)

Hallo My Lovelies,

Today I want to share with you a Top Coat that I've been testing for over a month now, and I have to say WOW is this Top Coat amazing!! The Top Coat I'm talking about is none other then Nail Pattern Boldness Glitter Food (Fix A Flat)

Here is what Nail Pattern Boldness has to say about Glitter Food "If you wear glitter polish you've probably noticed that the finish can be gritty or rough, especially with denser glitters. This works great as a topcoat to smooth things out and give you a nice glassy look. It does dry to a satin finish, so I recommend a glossy topcoat over it (I have fallen out of love with Seche Vite lately, but NYC Grand Central Station works great and is cheap).
If you find that you get some shrinkage, some thinner should get you back to normal.

Recently I've been testing it for use as a basecoat - particularly for polishes that require a super smooth base to start with - and have been liking the results. More on this as I gather data!

Yet another use for this product is to "fix" polishes that have "gone flat." By this I mean polishes where the original base used wasn't strong enough to hold up the glitter, and it's not possible to just shake it back up to reincorporate the glitter. I've included a few before and after photos on polishes I've fixed this way so you can see what I mean. The way I've used it is to remove the top 1/4 or 1/5 of the sinky glitter bottle using an eyedropper and replace it with Glitter Food. Shake it up (really really hard the first time) or you might need to get in there with an orange stick to really pick up the glitter off the bottom of the bottle. If there's enough interest in using it this way I may offer a kit in the future that includes a dropper (though if you have a Sally's near you they sell disposable plastic ones that are great for this purpose)."

Here are afew mani's that I used Glitter Food over.

Here is an example of my mani with and without Glitter Food.

With:

Big difference right????? I mean OMG Glitter Food is amazing. You wont believe how smooth your mani will be after using this babe, I can't even  imagine doing a glitter mani anymore without Glitter Food!!

So what do you think? Have you tried Glitter Food and if so did you like it?

Glitter Food and other Nail Pattern Boldness polishes can be purchased from her Etsy Shop you can also get updates and restock news from her blog

Do you own Seppuku or any Nail Pattern Boldness polishes?

Review: F4 Square Dance

Hallo My Lovelies,

Today I have F4 Square Dance to share with you. Square Dance is a mix of white, pink, black and blue matte square glitters in a clear base.

Once I seen the name of this polish it made me think of a childhood memory :) I mom tried over and over to teach me how to square dance, lets just say it never worked LOL

I used 2 coats of Square Dance over a mauve colored franken I made some time ago but never got around to using it. I think this combo looks great together.

To get a smooth finish I used 1 coat of Glitter Food and 1 coat of HK Girl top coat.

So what do you think? Do you have any F4 Polishes?

You can buy Square Dance and many other F4 Polishes at there Etsy shop!
